| The KAESER Pure Air System is able to achieve a high degree of
cleanliness and dryness in compressed air. The system comprises a
centrifugal separator, a microfilter, a prefilter (as additional
security), a heatless regenerated desiccant dryer, an activated
carbon adsorber and a particulate filter all built into a common
housing and interconnected for instant use. Class 1 purity to ISO
8573-1 standards for dust, water and oil content and is achieved,
which is about 100,000 times purer than today's atmospheric air. |
Advantages: The KAESER Pure Air System treats compressed air in six stages: - FA centrifugal separator to remove condensate carried in the air, fitted with an ECO DRAIN electronic condensate drain
- FE microfilter to remove solid particles above 0.01 µm and aerosols, fitted with an ECO DRAIN electronic condensate drain and differential pressure gauge with switching function
- FC prefilter (for extra security) fitted with an ECO DRAIN electronic condensate drain and differential pressure gauge with switching function
- Model DC heatless regenerated desiccant dryer to remove all traces of moisture down to pressure dewpoints of -40 to -70°C
- Model ACT activated carbon adsorber to remove any remaining hydrocarbons by adsorption and capillary condensation
- FD particulate filter on the adsorber outlet to trap any activated carbon dust caused by attrition
